What we claim, what we refuse to claim, and how to tell the difference on any page here.
Who writes this
The guides are written and maintained by the team at Jazz Games. They are about technique — how to describe a shot so a model renders what you meant — and nothing more than that.
Models change. A sentence that produced a particular result in one version may produce a different one in the next, and where that is likely the page says so rather than presenting a trick as a rule.
Every example clip on this site and in the app is generated. We do not present generated footage as a recording of anything, and we do not publish generated likenesses of real people.
No product rankings, no affiliate links
We do not run "best of" lists, we do not take payment for a mention, and there are no affiliate links anywhere on this site. Products appear only as examples of a category, never as a recommendation to buy a specific one. The commercial relationship here is simple and visible: we make an app, and we would like you to try it.
Corrections and updates
Every guide carries the date it was last updated. When we get something wrong, we change the page rather than quietly deleting it. If you spot an error, write to hello@jazzgames.net — it is read by the people who write these.
On AI
We build an app whose analysis runs on AI, so it would be strange to pretend otherwise: AI tools are part of how this site is drafted and maintained. Nothing goes up unread. The structure, the claims, the hedges and the refusals to claim are decided by people, and any sentence we would not defend in an email is cut before it reaches the page.
Every clip made with The Director is generated. None of it was filmed, and none of it is a record of anything that happened.
